For this assignment, I chose the article illustrating the passing of Al Worden. His life, legacy and the accomplishments he has achieved that few have ever.
My first infographic is a timeline of his life, graduating, to NASA, to Apollo 15, then to his career in aerospace. In my second, it is just an infographic of the trip around the moon with his partners, David Scott and Jim Irwin. And the third is just to show how rare of an accomplish he achieved, being one of 24 to have been by the moon from 1968 to 1972.
I hope this represents his life, his achievements and this article well. It is always fascinating to see someone’s life in the big picture looking back – especially when that person has a historical accomplishment.
