For this week we had the choice of Health and Environment as our topic. I chose to focus on the broad topic of heart health, and some tips on how you can improve it.
Research for my topic took about half an hour, and all of it came from The New York Times. I created my infographic on Canva, and creating the infographic took about an hour. I tried to make my infographic persuasive by including startling information about heart disease and strokes in the very first section at top. I purposely made words like “leading” and “worldwide” different colors to bring attention to them. I chose to focus on a red/light pink color scheme given I was talking about heart health, but I chose a yellow color in my middle section because I think the yellow reads well against the light pink and gave it some extra color.
