Reflection
The program that I chose to use for this infographic is Canva. I have used Canva for the majority of my infographics and I have become very comfortable with using it. I decided to start from scratch because I wanted to have the complete freedom when creating my infographic. I like how much freedom Canva gives you. I researched this topic by googling Barack Obama and his statistics from the 2008 and 2016 elections. It took me about a half hour to research this topic and get all the information that I wanted to create the infographic. It then took me about an hour to create the actual infographic and get everything where I wanted it. My design process began with making the background blue to symbolize his role in the democratic party. Then, I added the picture, graphs, chart, and symbol. I decided to make the font color white to stand out against the dark blue background. I also tried to incorporate red into the infographic since America’s colors are red, white, and blue.
