- Did you run into any challenges with Google?
Not really, google is pretty user-friendly. I did not like the fact that i could not seperate my paragraphs unless I wrote them outside of the text box allowed.
- How did you research this topic?
I have always been fascinated with Amusement Parks and I worked for Dorney Park this summer, So I got to learn about all of the parks Cedar Fair owns. Their website has a list of all their parks so it was pretty easy for me to research.
- How long did it take you to research and then create the map?
This process took me overall 2 hours. Just because I was making sure I had the right information and tiny urls for each picture and park. Research on top of crediting on top of changing the icons for each and every park was a bit of tall order. But the process was repetitive so it didn’t feel very long.
- What was your design process like? Walk us through why you made the color choices, font choices, and layout choices you did.
My design Process was simple. I matched the colors of the amusement parks and their respective water parks. I liked that google had a ferris wheel icon but wished they had more than just a ferris wheel. I thought it would be neat to have a water slide and/ or a roller coaster icon.
