The program that I used to create my infographic, was Powerpoint. Last week I watched a Linkedin learning video on making an infographic in PowerPoint, so I decided to try it out. When I was creating my infographic, I started from scratch. PowerPoint didn’t have really any templates. I liked PowerPoint a lot, I’m not used to making infographics in PowerPoint, I’m used to making presentations in PowerPoint, so it was differently different. Like I said earlier, PowerPoint didn’t really have a lot of templates for the project that I was doing, which I didn’t really like.
For my topic, I just researched a heart diagram, and a lot of pictures came up. I wanted to find the right infographic for my assignment. Then I had to find out where the Aorta, Apex was, etc. It took me about 15 minutes to research this topic. It took me longer to create the infographic. It probably took me about an hour to create this infographic, so about an hour and 15 minutes in total.
For my design process, I used a light green background. I thought the light green would look good with the white picture and the black text. I put the heart picture in the middle of the infographic, and I had some white space in between the infographic, so I decided to put some text above the infographic to fill up some space.
