For this assignment, I chose to profile my boyfriend. For some reason I thought it would be easier to profile someone else rather than myself.
To make things a little easier on myself for my first infographic, I decided to use a template on canva. I thought it would help to boost some ideas for my infographic and it did. I could have probably made a nicer infographic if I started from scratch, but I still think it turned out okay. It helped me to get some ideas for future designs.
I thought about what types of things to do all week before actually doing the infographic. Since my boyfriend is an Electrician, I wanted to make sure I added the parts of his career and how he got there. I wanted it to be simple, yet sophisticated in case I decide to turn it into a resume infographic one day. He is a pretty simple guy, so I wanted to make sure I represented that in the profile.
