For this week’s assignment, I had to do some research and really practice how to use Google Maps. I had never used this program before so it took a little bit to get used to it. I had to make sure I was constantly saving the descriptions and pictures as I was adding them, because a few times when I went to a different tab in my browser, I lost my description I was writing, or the picture got deleted because I wasn’t saving them before I left that tab. Once I started adding points to my map and customizing the icon colors and symbols, I started to cruise through it. This assignment took me maybe an hour and a half from start to finish. I chose the location of Lancaster city because it is very close to home for me. My friends and I visit there often, and have been to many if not all of the bars and restaurants I listed on my map. I did a little bit of research to find pictures for each location, and also read some articles to help me with the descriptions of each place.
