- What program did you use to create your infographic? Did you use a template or start from scratch? What did you like or dislike about this program? For this infographic I used Canva. For my template I started from scratch, I found this works best as I have full creative control. One of my favorite features on canva in “elements” which offers a search bar for any icon you can think of. For example I wanted to make this project black and gold, in elements I typed in “gold” and found 20+ gold designs.
- How did you research this topic? For this topic I started by typing in the show name. I then found maybe articles and decided what information was most important to someone viewing my project that has no pier knowledge on the show. I then researched all my data and started pulling into Canva.
- How long did it take you to research and then create the infographic? This topic for me 2-3 hours to research. I have been watching this show for years but never knew how much does behind it. This project helped me learn more about where to find information and how to display it. Then I would say another 2-3 hours to create the infographic from start to finish.
- What was your design process like? Walk us through why you made the color choices, font choices, and layout choices you did. For my design process I started by finding the colors and fonts used by the show. I took those elements and started layers different photos, colors, and textures. I created a layout for how I wanted my information displayed and designed my charts/graphs. And then I started moving things around to clean up my design, downloaded and I was finished!
